richard.l.lyon.jpgRichard L. Lyon has engaged in the practice of law for over 30 years.   He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia and the Federal Courts in those jurisdictions with a concentration in Estate and Trust matters.

Mr. Lyon is AV rated and is the past chairman of the Estates and Trusts Section of the Montgomery County Bar Association, a former member of the Section Council of the Estates and Trusts Section of the Maryland State Bar Association and a member of the Maryland State, Montgomery County, Prince Georges County and District of Columbia Bar Associations.

Mr. Lyon was named in the 2010 Washingtonian Magazine Best Lawyers, Marylands SuperLawyers , Washington DCs SuperLawyers and the Best Lawyers In America in the area of Estates and Trusts, as he was in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

A graduate of Georgetown University (cum laude 1973) and University of Maryland School of Law (JD 1976), Mr. Lyon and his family currently reside in Rockville.
